🚨 Pond Rehab in Action! 🚨

HazRad Australia, in collaboration with Thuroona Services, recently completed a full-scale rehabilitation of effluent ponds in need of serious TLC — and we brought the big tools for the job!

✅ After detailed surveys, our expert crews cleared vegetation and dried sludge from the primary pond, carefully working down to the clay liner to restore its full capacity as the main effluent receptor.

💧 Next up, with the effluent successfully bypassed from the secondary pond, we deployed an unmanned FLUMP auger suction dredge to pump in-situ sludge into geotextile dewatering bags — enabling efficient, clean, and safe relining.

♻️ The outcome? Once dried, nutrient-rich biosolids were transported offsite for composting — giving waste a second life as a carbon-rich soil improver!

Another successful project restoring vital infrastructure and supporting circular solutions for organic waste.
