Safe clearance of per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances
HazRad is known for reliable and cost effective PFAS (per- and poly-fluoroalkyl) treatment and removal services.
As an Aboriginal-owned company, we have ingrained values around protecting people and Country from these harmful chemicals.
Clearing PFAS from water
Since 2018, HazRad has been helping to clear hazardous PFAS chemicals. We have treated and discharged hundreds of thousands of L of impacted fire-wash waters.
We continue to treat approximately 1.3 million L of PFAS-impacted water in situ every day.
AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) disposal
AFFF is water-based fire-fighting foam which suppresses flammable liquid fires. PFAS is the key ingredient.
Since 2019, we have disposed of over 500,000 L of AFFF PFAS concentrate around Australia.
PFAS immobilisation
We use the latest developments in immobilisation of PFAS for soil stabilisation and remediation.
This helps to reduce waste classifications for approved disposal pathways.
